We are hosting the African BioGenome Project @DAISEA_AfricaBP Open Institute West Africa Regional Workshops practical sessions in partnership with @illumina and @isnmedical. Following brief theoretical sessions, participants performed hands-on laboratory exercises in groups

🧬Our scientists were trained on using the @illumina Microbial Amplicon Prep (IMAP) for sequencing. The IMAP enables targeted sequencing of various pathogens by using primer pools specific to them. You can use the IMAP for different pathogens if you have their specific primers.
